The Dutch Wave
The Dutch Wave
Multimedia group show, curated by Harry Heyink / Rietveld Academie Amsterdam – 23 May – 20 June 1998
The Dutch contribution to 20th-century German culture has, through the export of tulip bulbs, Frau Antje, Rudy Carrell and Linda de Mol, never been modest. Kunstruimte Berlin wanted to add to this rich offering by introducing 136 visual artists from the Netherlands into the roaring heart of Germany: Berlin.
The wave breaks over Berlin from 23 May to 20 June. Hosted by Susanne Dietze and Oliver Baurhenn. – Harry Heyink
Exhibition design: visitors were invited to take folders from an assembled archive, offering further insight into each artist’s work.
